Intercruises is pleased to confirm its endorsement of the “Manifesto for Sustainable Development,” an initiative led by Suncruise Andalucía.

Suncruise Andalucía brings together the port authorities of the major Andalusian ports—Algeciras, Almería, Cádiz, Huelva, Málaga, Motril (Granada), and Seville—as well as the ports of Ceuta and Melilla, with the mission of promoting Andalusia and the Alborán Sea as leading destinations for cruise and recreational boating.

This commitment promotes a balanced growth model guided by innovation, social and environmental responsibility, and good corporate governance, with the ambition of building a more resilient and competitive Andalusia.

As a global ground handling and port agency business, we recognize that the environment and the communities in which we operate are fundamental to Intercruises’ long‑term success. By signing this manifesto, Intercruises strengthens its dedication to a responsible and inclusive operational model, further contributing to the economic development of the cruise sector in Andalusia.

Intercruises is taking action through:
• Compliance policies that ensure integrity, transparency and accountability across all operations, with operational procedures aligned with Andalusian port authorities and local regulatory requirements, and the use of approved suppliers.
• Regular integrity and compliance training for both permanent and seasonal operational teams, including modules on anti‑bribery and corruption, fair competition, and responsible business conduct.
• Offering more sustainable tour alternatives, supporting local businesses, and “off‑the‑beaten‑path” routes to support better crowd distribution and reduce environmental impact.
• Sustainability online training modules for teams and sharing practical sustainability guidance with teams during operational planning and cruise calls.

We look forward to collaborating with Suncruise Andalucía as part of this initiative.
