Intercruises was recognized as 'Most Efficient Shorex Agent & Tour Operator' at the first ever MedCruise Awards. Medcruise is a leading cruise port association, with members in the Mediterranean and adjoining seas. The awards ceremony consisted of various categories judged by an independent jury of cruise industry experts.
Numerous awards from some of the world’s leading cruise brands for customer service, operations efficiency and sustainability, including over 100 Royal Caribbean Ground Handler Awards and special recognition from Carnival, Thomson (now Marella) and Princess for services rendered.
Launched in 2016, the Wave Awards are relatively new to the cruise industry. Intercruises won Best UK Excursion in 2017 and Best Use of Technology in 2018. Intercruises was twice-nominated in 2019 and received a Highly Commended recognition for Best Excursion. In 2021, Intercruises was nominated three times in the Best for Excursions category, for shorex in Australia, UK and Sri Lanka, and in 2022 received two nominations for Best Excursion and Best Environmental Innovation. More recently, in 2023, Intercruises has received a nomination for Best Excursion.
The Premios Excellence (Cruise Excellence Awards) are the results of a survey carried out with cruise passengers and travel agents, adding a special value to the results, as the assessment is done by the users themselves. Intercruises won 'Special Recognition of Innovation' and 'Commitment to the Environment' in 2019, and 'Long-standing Contribution to the Cruise Industry' in 2024.
