We are all currently living through unprecedented times and one of the most difficult moments in the history of the cruise industry.

Since early 2020, Intercruises colleagues have been handling different challenges of COVID-19, supporting cruise lines around the world as the virus spread. We have assisted in guest and crew repatriation, as well as providing different port operation services to help maintain vessels in lay-up. Our teams are now working with cruise lines, port authorities, local governments and destinations stakeholders on how the cruise industry will safely return.

As part of the TUI Group, Intercruises teams have been able to work with some of the leading experts in travel and occupational Health and Safety, during both the initial response to the epidemic, and how we can prepare to return to operations in a way that is safe for cruise guests, Intercruises teams, cruise line colleagues and all those involved in our operations. We have also received support from sustainability experts to ensure that we continue to respect destinations as we implement new processes. Furthermore, dedicated product development teams are working to ensure that, regardless of how future operations change, we will still be able to provide unforgettable shoreside experiences for guests. This includes looking at the latest travel trends, opportunities to utilize new technologies and how we can support local communities.

Every person that reads this will have in some way been affected by COVID-19 and we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all well. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to colleagues that have continued to provide support to cruise lines during these times, and also to our colleagues eager to return to the port. We will be back.
