Intercruises Guide Academy
(Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Arnhem)
Become a local storyteller with the Intercruises Guide Academy! We will train you to become a guide for the Amsterdam Canal Cruises, Keukenhof Flower Tours, Arnhem Walking Tours, and Open-Air Museum experiences. You’ll join a motivated, multinational team – weaving your stories, experiences, and local knowledge into unforgettable moments for travelers from around the world.
ABOUT THE JOB
• After completing the Intercruises Guide Academy training, you will be placed on the roster for guiding opportunities.
• Work flexibly as a freelance guide, choosing assignments that fit your schedule.
• You’ll guide international cruise guests on half-day tours that showcase the best of our country, bringing Dutch culture to life through storytelling.
• Manage small to medium-sized groups of international guests.
• Ensure a smooth guest experience—from meeting the group to returning them safely and on time.
• Use your local knowledge to answer questions, create engagement, and make every tour memorable.
ABOUT YOU
• You must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands and be currently residing there.
• You are reliable and work proactively.
• You are energetic, curious, and outgoing.
• No guiding experience required.
• You are confident and have good communication skills in English (other languages are a plus).
• You enjoy being part of a multinational environment and are a true team player.
• You have a customer-service mindset and a passion for service excellence.
