The fourth busiest port in the world and the busiest in Europe, Barcelona offers a unique blend of beaches, beautiful coastlines, history, culture, architecture and a world conquering football team.  The growth of the port in the last ten years has seen an incredible increase in throughput, with terminals originally used for ships with 2000 guests, now being fully utilised to accommodate 3500. In 2012 the Port of Barcelona will receive 805 vessels.

Since its launch, Intercruises has been operating in Barcelona, with the Head Office based in the World Trade Centre overlooking one of the key entrances to the port. The  Intercruises Barcelona team provides ground handling operation and port operation services, handling in excess of 350 calls a year. We work with 29 different cruise lines and in a single day can employ over 300 staff. Our specialist Turnaround teams have experience in handling multiple numbers of giant cruise lines in a single day and have created very good relationships to ensure smooth operations.
